Nadia was born and raised in Cuenca, Ecuador. She immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 12. Having been through the immigration system herself, she recognizes the hardships immigrants face when relocating to a new country and adapting to a new culture. Now, as a naturalized citizen, she is passionate about assisting individuals and families going through the immigration system.

Nadia worked with a prominent criminal defense attorney in Broward County, Florida, for over 9 years. As a result, she has a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system. During this time, she volunteered with the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and coordinated several award dinners, happy hours, and special events for its members and judicial staff.

She is a 2016 graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. She served as the President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund from 2014-2016. Nadia attended college at University of North Georgia (formerly Gainesville State College) and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Minor in Public Administration. Additionally, in 2015, she joined Florida State University, College of Law for the Summer Program in Law at the University of Oxford in England.

Nadia was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2016. She worked with a South Florida immigration firm as a law clerk and eventually as an associate where she had first hand experience in business based immigration and family based immigration.

Currently a member of the Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association the American Bar Association, AILA, and the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar.
