Christine J. Alden is an immigration attorney and partner with Weiss, Alden & Polo, P.A.  Established in 1976, the firm, consisting of a team of immigration attorneys offers global representation of individuals and businesses worldwide seeking U.S. immigration solutions. 

Christine was born in England to British and Jamaican parents. As a naturalized U.S. Citizen herself, she recognizes the importance of U.S. Citizenship and the opportunities and security it brings, thus, allowing her to identify with each and every one of her clients, no matter the situation or walk of life.

Christine is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is currently serving the local chapter of South Florida of approximately 950 lawyers as Vice President.

Additionally, within the AILA South Florida Chapter, she is the Chair of the Budget Committee, Vice Chair of Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Vice Chair of Customs and Border Protection Liaison Committee.  She is also a coordinator for the Congressional Liaison Committee’s Lobby Day scheduled for April 2018.  In the last year, Christine has helped organize the AILA South Florida teams for National Day of Action in Washington DC and locally through Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Martin Counties to advocate on behalf of AILA South Florida, our clients, our businesses and community.  Previously, she was the Co-Chair of the Unlawful Practice of Law Liaison Committee and the Co-Chair of the Practice Management Committee.  She was involved in launching the chapter’s Mentor Cluster Program, a successful mentorship program to help South Florida AILA members in all levels of practice as well as the Brown Bag bi-monthly lunch series to help educate members.

Christine is also the President of the British American Business Council of Miami for the 2017 to 2019 term.

She is a 1996 graduate of Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she was the Research Editor of the Law Review.  She attended college at the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.  Her practice is solely dedicated to U.S. immigration law so she can focus on the immigration needs of her clients.  Through her work over the last two decades in practice, she has helped countless individuals successfully immigrate to the U.S. to realize the American Dream.
